While undertaking an internship with A76 Productions in New York City, Jesse worked with fellow interns Evelyn Gallagher, Christopher Gowar, and Eliza Philpott to create The City. They shared the creative control as they shot and edited, creating a film that shows some of the many ways that people experience New York City.

In his first film with Daniel White, Jesse reached out to Rich Martin, a friend of his from his time on the music scene in New London, CT. This film was the result of hours of work with Rich and Mike to find out what really makes vinyl, and music generally, so special to the people in a community.
